Girl of the Waterfall & Invisible Man

These surreal scenes were done one year after each other, but still almost work together as a pair specifically because of the clothing as if they were bride and groom.

The Garden

My summer is always filled with these gorgeously lit evenings in my Grandparent's garden. The golden glow creates amazing back lighting for portraits, and still life in the garden.

Carte De Visite: Haylie Dittrich

This is my own self-portrait and representation of the famous CDV (Carte de Visite) in Paris. It was an extremely popular way for family members and friends to exchange portraits with each other when photography was becoming a mainstream accessible hobby. The CDVs were printed on small 2 x 4 inch cards.

Contrast in Black & White

I love to pair these two images because they both show a type of contrast in the to images, The first, a country road vs. a city skyline, while the second, a homeless man vs. a business man.

Self-Portrait: Multiple Me

To show off my love for dance, I created a self portrait that portrayed different parts of my personality.

Object as Art

Creating beautiful pictures with an everyday object, or even normal foods you find in your fridge, is an interesting idea to play with. Here mushrooms are my models.

Her Reflection

Inspired by many photographers working in the surreal element, I created this image of a girl reaching towards her reflection while she is floating in midair.
